For the best experience in using this site, remember the following:
- Select your carrier and phone model in the store. This will ensure that you can browse the ringtones and images that will work on your phone. Not all content is available for all phones.
- Your phone must be "Download" or "Browser" enabled to activate your account and shop in the store.
- Have your phone ready to ensure you have the correct manufacturer and model number.
- Ensure that you have credit in your cell phone's account if you're a pre-paid customer.
Currently all ringtones purchased from this site will be billed through your wireless carrier. The charges will appear on your next statement indicating the media you bought along with the appropriate charges. The actual line item will differ between carriers, but will indicate you have purchased content from "Motricity". It will incorporate the price of your download, taxes on your purchase, as well as any transport fees collected by your carrier for media transfers.
If you're a pre-paid customer, please make sure that you've got enough credit in your account to make the purchase and complete the download.
Additional Carrier Charges: Depending on your plan, your carrier may levy additional charges for the following:
- Any airtime spent using your phone to activate an account in your cell phone's browser.
- Any airtime spent browsing the store and/or making a purchase using your cell phone.
- Any airtime spent to download content while on the cell phone.
- Your carrier may also charge a "Transport Fee". This is a network charge in addition to the retail price listed for delivery of your ringtone or graphic. Please know that only the successful delivery of the media you select and purchase will have transport fees applied.
Note that taxes are not included in the retail price of our ringtones or graphics, and will be applied by your carrier to the items you purchase on your monthly carrier bill.
A WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) URL address will be sent to your phone. By responding to that message, you will fetch the content from a Motricity Download Server. Once you have successfully downloaded the content, Motricity will send an order confirmation via text message. Receipt of the text message usually takes just a few seconds.
Just in case you have problems with the WAP URL, Motricity will also send a text message with a "locker combo" which can be used to access your order from the Motricity "WAP Content Locker". To access the WAP Content Locker, launch the browser on your phone and surf to: http://www.wam0.com, from there you will be given further instructions on how to proceed.
Please contact your wireless carrier customer support if you do not know how to use your phone browser or do not have web access on your phone.
Remember: it can take up to several minutes for polyphonic ringtones and images to arrive. If you have not received the content URL, within 24 hours of completion of your purchase, you can always retrieve it at http://www.wam0.com from your phone browser.
